UU Shenandoah offers members and friends many opportunities to gather outside of Sunday. We have Covenant Groups, Faith Development Groups, Committees, and Affinity Social Groups. If you are curious about any of our activities, or would like to find out how to meet up, please ask anyone at church. Affinity Social Groups

Book Group
Meets approximately every 5 weeks on a Tuesday at 2:00. Everyone who loves reading fiction and nonfiction is invited to get on our email list to see what we're reading next, and come ready to discuss!

By Our Own Hands
By Our Own Hands is a group for creatives. All are welcome! On the 2nd Friday of the month we meet from 10am to noon and bring handwork. This includes but is not limited to: knitting, crocheting, hand stitching, stamping, mending, and any handwork that does not require a large table. On the 4th Friday of the month we meet from 10am to 4pm and have a full set up of tables, cutting tables, ironing station and tools.. This is dedicated to those who want to bring their sewing machine and work on larger projects but it DOES NOT exclude anyone wishing to do hand work. All are welcome and we enjoy the diversity.

Meditation Group
The Meditation Group meets at UU Shenandoah every Tuesday in the library at 2:00 pm.

ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out)
ROMEO are group of men who twice a month enjoy each other's company over lunch at area restaurants.  (No, you don't actually need to be "old" or "retired," you just have to be able to get away for a long lunch occasionally). Meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.
