The Stars in Our Palms

Stars have been used for eons to help chart humanity's course when traversing land or sea. Setting intentions - whether collective or personal - can provide similar guidance as we chart the course of life. In my own life, choosing personal values has helped to guide and direct my choices and actions. Over the last several years, Unitarian Universalists have explored and refined our Shared UU Values, another rubric that guides us. What does it mean to choose values as a community? Let's reflect on this together, as we prepare to revise our congregation's own Mission and Vision statement in the year ahead.
