"Blue Ridge Care"
Ben Weber, VP, Business Development, Community Care Division
Blue Ridge Independence at Home

Join us this Sunday as we hear from guest speaker Ben Weber of Blue Ridge Care. With the mission of “Delivering extraordinary care to improve life’s journey,” Blue Ridge Care is dedicated to providing the highest-quality compassionate and comprehensive physical, emotional, and spiritual care for aging and seriously ill members of our community, their families, and those affected by grief.

Growing this new not-for-profit in the Shenandoah Valley is nothing short of exciting. The organization is filled with energy,” Ben says. “We know the value we will be bringing to the frail elderly, a group that in many cases has been overlooked. We have the opportunity to be a catalyst, to serve both the medical and socialization needs of the frail elderly while enabling them to continue to live at home in the community.

A former newspaper owner, media executive, and marketing and branding professional, Ben Weber is a key member of the new management team that is launching Blue Ridge Independence at Home, the Winchester-based PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Program affiliated with Blue Ridge Hospice that provides comprehensive community-based care for seniors, allowing them to receive medical and social supportive services so they can continue to live safely and independently in their homes and communities.

As Vice President of Business Development for Blue Ridge Care, Ben is responsible for promoting and growing Blue Ridge Independence at Home. Community outreach, marketing, development of printed and website content, and establishing relationships with key community partners are all part of the job.
