Walk for Peace

Dear UU Shenandoah Members and Friends,

I've heard someone say that the venerable monks walking for peace are like shooting stars - this was certainly the case when they zoomed by me on Route 1 just north of Richmond this Tuesday. I felt lucky to bear witness to their quest for peace.

This Sunday, I'll preach on my experience, but for now, I'll share this: the ripple effect of kindness is powerful. What if we all tried it - waking up each morning and starting our days with the phrase "This will be my peaceful day"? Think about what that one small change could do for our shared world.
