“When the Trumpet Cries: Bearing Witness, Breaking Silence”

Bleu Do'zia

Reclaiming the Sacred Stories of the Silenced

Inspired by the original play When A Trumpet Cries by Bleu Do’zia, this sermon explores the sacred act of remembering voices history tried to erase. Through the story of Abba, an enslaved woman, we examine what it means to bear witness, confront silence, and answer the call for justice. Join us as we reflect on the spiritual power of truth-telling and the trumpet within us all.
